I just recently had some coolant hoses replaced and the system bled on my 90 GL. The problem now is that my coolant light comes on and stays on. But when I turn the vehicle off then on again, the light will go out. Temperatures seem to be fine and the coolant temperature is normal. Anybody have any ideas as I don't really want to take her back into the shop ( my local VW gurus are so busy it takes almost a week to get anything done.) I work on my 72 VW T2 but have avoided working on my 90 till now because I just did not want to screw anything up. Any help appreciated, Steve Hajasz 90 Vanagon Gl 72 Type II Campmobile 84 Rabbit Convertible ( Yes a Rabbit not a Cabriolet ) |
