I just got my 86 westy last friday, my dad got it after I traded my Mitsubishi Eclipse, wonderful trade, no more bumped heads.

My dad paid $2,600, was that too much?

The seats need to be reapholstered, where would I go to do that, and what type of fabric. I want it to last.

The pop top needs to be replaced, the canvas, where do I go to get that done? Also the sunroof on the popper needs replacing, where do I go.

Also it came with a square shaped screen, with a 3 inch brown imitation leather border, it was stored in the space underneath the back bed/seat. Where does it go?

HOW RELIABLE ARE THEY???

It is a great everyday car, and my dogs love it, they try to find out what the rumbling in the back is, it is real funny.

One more thing, is there an easy way to get into the pop top bed, I have to step up on the seat behind the driver, then steady myself on the bars, is there a special type of ladder? D
