I haven't a clue what the answer is to this question, but if you ever drive across the Plains states, or Utah, Nevada, or parts of CA, my guess is that it might save you from the aching shoulder I've experienced many times while holding the steering wheel with both hands as the wind attempts to blow me off the highway. A constant 30 mhph wind and a vanagon makes for a miserable time... Wow, power steering. What a thought. I want it.
