The Waterboxer exhaust system is completely rigid, and attached only to the engine. I can't even imagine what it would take to design a system that could have a body-mounted muffler so close to the engine. That said, I'd like to say that my S&S exhaust system is wonderfully designed, mounts a bit easier than the stock system, fits ten times better than the Dansk system (based on stock) that I put on my last van, and is *very* durable, having withstood a 20mph impact from a 95 Mustang with minimal dammage. _________________________________________________________ Bob O'Shaughnessy, Columbus, OH 85GL 74 Bus (Dad's) 72 Wife, 94 Rabbit, 95 Cat, 96 cat 98 Kid (Robert F.
