the door pin switch is a grounding switch. if it sticks. simply take it out and either clean it or replace it. 5 min job. but, the buzzer is a different story altogether. it should be killed as an afront to the senses. open the door, and let it wail, then access the fuse/relay block and pluck the noisey little bugger and proceed to step on it. it, at least on both of my vw's, has no other purpose. cheers jim catterson 91 syncro 93 ev gl ny
