Well, it seems that this group has united another lonely Vanagon with some new parents (slaves!?). I'm proud to announce the joining of the Rokus family with (yet another) Vanagon. The Bloss family was nice enough to introduce us to some friends of theirs, the Shenks, and they graciously conceded to allowing us an excuse to drive 17 hours to see wonderful PA and add the first Syncro to our stable. Real people don't do this do they? How bad can it be? Well, I have done stranger things.... like the time I drove from Michigan to Oklahoma for a Journey concert.....It's only miles... right.... (Note: remember to bring tools). Well, If you see a pair of blue Vanagons somewhere between northern MI and eastern PA this week, please honk or something.... Especially if one of them is broke down! I guess this means I have to start reading the Syncro posts now too ....;-) Mark & Karen Rokus and the herd '87 GL syncro (SOON) '84 GL '81 Westy 'bla bla bla (way too many to be interesting) |
