Lesson learned, I stand corrected: check your exhaust for leaks and
your O2 sensor first, THEN check idle speed and idle stabilizer. Of
course, as someone weened on a Type IV, I can tell you what wonders a
regular tune-up can do, assuming the engine has good compression all
around and was out of tune to begine with.
