Hi Frank -

I've heard of people disassembling the fan motor, extracting the bearings
and taking them down to a bearing supply house (like King Bearing - now
called Applied Industrial Technologies) to match them up - it's one
suggestion I have.  It's a long shot, but a Generator/Motor Rebuilding Shop
may be able re-do it as well for considerably less - worth investigating.

I sell replacement new motor assemblies and yep, they ain't cheap either:
