I was pursuing this question not too long ago and did get a hopeful response. I had found a firm in Canada called PG Performance that seems to do alot with high performance lighting. I e-mailed them asking if there was an "e-code" H-4 direct replacement for the square hi-low beams on Vanagons. I got a response saying yes there was, and that it would cost $350(!!) Canadian. The response was very brief with no detail so I e-mailed back asking for specifics. That was more than a month ago and I have not heard back.

So, anyone interested in this possibility contact PG Performance at info@pgperformance.com. Maybe if alot of us do this we can get there attention and get a meaningful response.

Gary
