I love this town.

The local alternative radio station is sponsoring a contest where they will give away a 1998 VW Beetle. The really cool new one. There's one catch. You have to live in the car first.

Four finalists have been selected. Starting yesterday, they have to live in the car, 24 hours a day. The last one to quit, the last one in the car, wins the car.

Two more things. They get breaks. Ten minutes every three hours to eat, pee, or whatever. Oh yeah, there's a fifth person in there. Big Tad, the morning DJ assistant. He's 250 pounds, 6 feet tall, and obnoxious.

If that isn't enough, there's a camera in the car providing live video and audio feed to the internet so the WHOLE WORLD CAN WATCH.

If you want to see this crucifixion in progress, check out the site at: www.liveinit.earthlink.net

And join in the glamour of L.A.
