The important thing isn't whether they're crap, but that they a waste of money. The stock wires work fine. These expensive ones don't help performance, they just cost more. It's marketing hype. The real tuners I know (including me!) wouldn't waste time with them.

I urge anyone with questions to read "How to Hotrod VW Engines" by Bill Fisher. It was written back in '71, but most of the info is still valid. He tests out stuff like this. I was BS then, and it is now.
