Could be true, but for that price you might as well go ahead and put a complete reman tran. in your car for a little extra more money. A reman from german transaxle in Oregon (they ship anywhere) would be a good choice. I can get you a phone number if you want it. The trans. should be around $800. There's a core charge too. The trans. comes with a 3 year 36K warranty wich nobody could match including you car doctor. Labor is about $360. Michael.
