Ken,

I just did this last weekend.  Got some nylon bushings from my local
hardware store along with some stainless steel fender washers.  You need
different sizes for each side of the bushing.  Drilled out the rivet and
hooked everything up with a machine scew and locknut.  Locknut goes on
the front(forward) to give clearance for nut holding the track to the
plastic skylight.  Also cleaned and greased the crank mechanism while
there.

Works pretty well but the skylight still rattles some if open when
driving above 40mph.  Can someone with an intact skylight tell me if
they can drive at freeway speeds with the skylight open without it
rattling?
