I have done this many times and the scenerio is quite often unique. I just got one of the Poptop Skylights from Ron at the Bus Depot and after all was said and done I ended up paying $100 cnd for it. There was the excange rate, the money order fee, the transport, the taxes, and the postal handeling charge but no duty. "Usually" these are the cost incurred in having an item shipped from the U.S. the one variable is the duty which is dependent on the item. The postal handeling fee is "sometimes" not charged but not very often in my experiences. That's the life in the import business. Good luck !

Cheers

Frank
