I posted a few weeks back regarding this. A buddy bought a "european" retrofit grill and light package for his Scirrocco. It was essentially the vanagon square/rectangle lights, and a smaller grill.

He installed the same bulbs/relays as you and it was increadable. Now only was the light clear and bright, but very well defined, with a sharp upper edge, and smooth transition to the sides. I was running some high-end lighting on my Porsche at the time, and his lights were better than mine.

He ordered them from some Hi-performance Co. out of a magazine. seems like it was about $300 for the whole works (8 years ago).
