I order stuff from the USA all the time. There should be no duty on American, Canadian or Mexican parts because of NAFTA. I got into a LONG debate with UPS on this one. I ordered a Techtonics exhaust for my 1980 Rabbit Pickup. I got nailed duty on the parts. UPS said that it was for an import car. I expainded to them that Oregon (Techtonics) is in the USA and Westmoreland (Rabbit) is also in the USA... what is "import" about that?

The only thing that I ever pay is the 7$ GST and the 38% exchange rate on my Visa. Where possible go Postoffice so you can do your own brokering... UPS will charge you what ever they feel like for the "service" of paying the GST.
