Yvan,

You should contact Owasco RV/VW in Ontario. They offer lots of accessories for EVs. If they can't help, try Reimo in Germany. Reimo has several top racks available for the EV

P-mail if you are interested in a Reimo catalog. I offer them for sale.

If Reimo can't help, I can order direct, but you may end up paying US duty as well as Canadian duty. I have shipped several tents into Canada, and even with the double duty, have saved over the total price from Reimo including shipping and import.

As far as NAFTA is concerned, this only applies to goods made in N. America. The tents I sell are made in Germany, so when I ship them to Canada, you still end up paying duty at about 22%

You may want to consider having any items shipped to a friend in the US and then pick it up yourself. Even if you declare it going back into Canada, you may not have to pay any duty, or at least won't have to pay the broker fees that UPS and other shippers charge.
