the door pin switch is a grounding switch. if it sticks. simply take it out and either clean it or replace it. 5 min job. but, the buzzer is a different story altogether. it should be killed as an afront to the senses. open the door, and let it wail, then access the fuse/relay block and pluck the noisey little bugger and proceed to step on it. it, at least on both of my vw's, has no other purpose.
