Björn,

Sorry to hear about your awful week. Some of it is stuff only list
people can understand- it's hard to explain to some people sometimes.
My attitudes toward repair garages didn't just arrive dogmatically...

There are some things you need to remember, though- your dog is alive,
recovering, and eternally grateful for your efforts. You have the
power, as a consumer, to give the physically direct-action-oriented
exhaust mechanic the reputation he deserves, regardless of your luck
in court. You have a healthy kid, who owes you gratitude for your
concern with his computer. You have loving family and friends, as well
as listees who have offered their sympathy.

You might not believe this right now, but as time goes by, the memory
will come back without the sting, and you will feel much better for
knowing you have the strength to go through such times. I'm sure it
doesn't even feel so bad right now as it did when it was happening.

I hope this week goes more smoothly for you. Remember, you CAN come
out of this, battlescarred and bruised, but a stronger person, wiser
for the experience.
