VW recognized that there was a problem with the syncros sticking on the 091 gearboxes and sent us a techical bullentin telling us to switch from the petroleum base to the synthetic. If that doesn't change it for you then you'll have to decide if you can either live with it or have the trans pulled and rebuilt using the latest style 'coated' syncros.
