I think one of the most important things are being over looked here. I have owner my Syncro now for 2 year. It was in bad shape to say the least. To many bad mechanics were screwing with it. It had been running hot, with low power, as long as I have owned it. I have tried may things to get the temp. down and bring the power to were it belongs. After 2 years I finally found a vacuum line to the base of the idle stablizer hanging off.

The point is that many small thing can be wrong with the stock setup, witch will cause power loss. It make no sense to try to "hot rod" a poorly running engine.

I would like to make the following suggestions:

1 - plugs cap. and rotor, ever 30,000 miles. 2 - check for correct timming 3 - check the milage on the O2 sensor 4 - make sure there are no vacuum leak.
