The repair was quite easy. All you need is an oil filter wrench that will fit around the govenor cover. Getting the O-ring wasn't much of a problem. Both the local dealer and foreign car shop had it. The spring clamp thingy that holds it on was more difficult to obtain. As for the ring remove the old one first and bring it with you to be sure you've got a match.
