There is a procedure in your Bentley manual that pretty much goes as follows:

Look under the panel that covers the middle, rear door track (the one above the wheel). Unscrew the two Philips head screws at either end. (You are doing this with the sliding door shut) Gently but firmly (a rubber mallet comes in handy here) pound the panel upwards to remove it.

While in there, clean and grease everything you can.

To replace the panel, lubricate the rubber strip with dish soap (it washes away) and gently pound it into place.
