Subject: More news on 1.9TD list purchase:

I called to verify the source and some other info on the engines.
Here's a roundup:

They are AAZ automotive diesels as we specified. Country of
origin is Germany. (I'm pretty sure you can also get mexican ones,
but these were from the Vaterland.)

They come with a KKK turbo. That's what Bob Bellanca got and
he managed to fit his with the standard left motor mount.
No guarantee that our KKK is identical though, but at least there
is hope. Alternatives were: Get a quantum manifold from a junker
or a new motor mount or grind off enough of the old mount to
make fit.

Flywheel is 210mm, and they supposedily already come with a clutch,
but no pilot bearing (pilot bearings are not used in the VW cars,
which is what these engines were made for, but you need
to get one for the vanagon.)

No external accessories except vaccum pump (good since the
1.6 might not fir due to different shaft design in the 1.9)

Otherwise everyting is there.

The injection pump has an extra hookup possibility for load dependent
timing.

Tomorrow I'm supposed to get freight quotes for the zip
codes you who are on the sure list sent me.

Plan is as before to have the order in by Fri. I hope people
can be ready to get in touch with Impex about payment information.
