I use a portable winch that I keep under the back seat (I moved the rear heater over near the computer brain to make room for the winch under there). It is a Warn MP-4000 model, which has now been discontinued, but there are other, similar, models available. I have a very strong chain that goes between the winch and my car. By adjusting how many links of the chain I use when I connect up this winch, I adjust the angle of the winch. There are two chains, one on either side of the winch. The chain is attached to two tow hooks I installed on the van. You can buy these tow hooks at any automotive store. They can be bolted onto the frame rails back under the vehicle, on either side of the spare tire. Yes. I got the parts you sold me. Everything seemed AOK. Do you have for sale the shifter, the metal thing that is, like, 2 feet high and that you shift? I did not see any corrosion on those heads you sent me--maybe I was looking in the wrong place. Tell me about them again--why they were removed from your engine and what problem was fixed by their replacement. I now advocate cutting the weak looking tow loup thing on the front of the van off with a sawzall to increase ground clearance. This is a tie down point for the van while it was traveling across the ocean. Actually, I haven't cut mine off yet, but it is all bashed up.
