Well, it seems like it took forever and a day but I got the Double Cab running with the VW Rabbit / Audi Fox engine in it! I am really impressed at how it all turned out. There was a lot of inventing for the motor mounts but other than that it was simple. Don't expect to do it in a weekend though! There is a little vibration in the cab but it could be due to the fact that I haven't timed the engine yet and the VW Diesel Rabbit transmission mounts that I used for the engine mounts arn't broken in yet. Tomorrow I will take it for a test drive and I will report of how it all went. I hope I can sleep tonight! For those who are intested there is a detailed write up on the swap at: http://www.volkswagen.org/vanagon/syncroswap.htm
