First of all, my family and I always call it a bus, not a van. My wife remembers her father's '63 pale blue Microbus, in which were packed Mom, Dad, six children, and hay bales for the horses instead of middle or rear seats. The kids rode on the bales. Hey, it had a one ton carrying capacity. Those must have been very sloooowwwwww trips. It was named Blue Bell. Our '84 Vanagon is named Hippie. Our three children have applied a peace symbol and a "Gogh Van Gogh" sticker to the back. We have yet to find a flower power sticker, however! Paul Henderson '84 Vanagon (aka.
