My 2.1 wasserboxer is for sale (fits 86-91 Vanagons, all others with a bit of messing around). First up the known problems - it needs a new water pump and valve cover gaskets other than that it is rock solid. Now on to the details: - 2.1L wasserboxer - 146,000 kms - Six months before it was removed from my Double Cab there was 150lb compression on all four cyliders (Inspeced by Westminster Volkswagen) - No head gasket leaks - No oil consumption - All exhaust pipes are solid and have only slight surface rust - Cat and Muffler are in good shape (no melted spots in cat) - Digifant computer and complete UNCUT wiring harness - Natural Gas conversion kit (allows for gasoline or natural gas opration) - Flywheel - Intake system - Fuel Injection system What is not included: - Alternator - Ignition Coil - Power Steering Pump and bracket - Syncro air intake system (Everything from the airfilter to throttle body IS there) - Clutch - Engine cross member - Delivery out side of British Columbia $1500 Canadian If you are interested or know someone who is please let me know by emailing to mailto:david@volkswagen.org or by calling (250) 992 1163 or (250) 991 9459.
