Subject: Help! Eurovan overheating
I have a '93 Eurovan (5-cyl. 2.5l engine) that overheats when it is
idling for any length of time. The needle on the temp. gage is normally
only about half-way up (when driving on the freeway, etc.) but goes
almost all the way up and the temp. light blinks when idling or in heavy
traffic. The coolant level is OK.
I suspect something is wrong with the cooling fan control circuit or
temperature sensor, because the fuse for this blows out periodically and
the horn doesn't work (the horn uses the same fuse). Is there any easy
way to check this?
Does anybody have any suggestions or ideas?
