Advice? >> The transmission that you have found must be syncro trans. The syncro trans. has a extra low first gear. The rest of the gears are the same as the standard vanagon transmissions and fit the same also. If you found a true five speed, meaning an extra gear after fourth gear, I WANT IT. Michael.
