        Also check the connector coming out of the distributor for the
hall sender. This has been known to crack and allow the signal to ground out
to the distributor body. You need to pull the cap, rotor, and dust cover
to check to see if the eblow has cracked allowing the wire connector to
touch the distro body... I fixed this by slipping some electrical tape between
the broken connector and the distro body...
