Hi Peter, I've come across aproduct called SFR (Superior friction reducer) located in Butte Mt. 1800-735-6438 I've not used the product yet,but some mates of mine have and swear by it. It is designed for use in heavy earth moving equipment and the like ,but my friends use it their everyday vehicles engine oil, diffs, trns, even auto trans. I believe someone on the "list" lives in Montana and could maybe find out some more info on it for you. I'm not a big believer in oil additives, but this one I'm going to try as soon as I make a trip to the U.S. in June. Hope this helps. Doug the Canuck 82 V-6 Vanagon
