The Big Four Gotcha's of first time Vanagon ownership: 1) the front w/w fluid tank is under your left foot while driving (under the carpet) 2) the rear tank is along the back right side with the hatch opened 3) the normal battery location is under the passenger seat (on a westy, rotate the seat backward, then slide the seat all the way to the front) 4) the OXY light reset is in the spare tire area on the drivers side in a black box about 3 inches square connected to the speedo cable. It is only a reminder light. Nothing is wrong. 4a) (special for 1st time VW owners) The intermittant wiper position (if equipped) is all the way down. 1 notch up is off. (P.S., you can add this if not equipped by getting the relay and removing the position block from the switch) Mark
