I cannot be reading this. You cannot use that spare tire without endangering your VC even though the marked size is the same there are small differences. I see that you say that you know this.

You HAVE to use the same size spare.

The only way to use that spare tire would be to also disconnect the driveshaft first.

You cannot go to a 30" tire without severe consequences on your gearing. You cannot install new gearing without severe consequences on your pocketbook. You should do some heavy reading in the archives before proceeding down this path.
