No.

I slick 50'd a Geo at 110K because it had an oil leak and I thought the S50 would be insurance if I was out on the expressway and the oil got a bit low, unbeknownst to me. (it didn't leak at a consistent rate)

Well, as further insurance, I was ANAL about how much oil was in the crankcase- just like on a Bus- and threw a rod 8K later anyway. Of course, this incident happened after I asked the list about using Slick 50 in a 1.9, and Unca Joel says, "Save your money."

So, save your money. By the way, check out the Type II archive- recently, there was a thread about canola oil. Boxer salad, anyone? :)
