have a problem with my 84 watercooled vanagon it started blowing out steam one day and it looked like oil dripping out of exhaust may have been exhaust soot mixed with water, but what is the coolant leaking from could the head be cracked, checked the compression all 4 were good 175 i think ,but with heads off one was steam cleaned, think it was 3 could this be seal, gasket, i know these busess have a problem with head gaskets but it wasnt leaking at gasket onto ground like described in that problem in the archives
