How does the oil filter side mount attach to the engine? It looks a LOT wimpier that the one that I built!

There's a pretty beefy cast mount for that. Looks odd in the perspective of the drawing. The stock diesel mounts don't go under the pan though. A separate bar is used to hold the longitudal "tubes" together.
