hello everyone, this may have been covered in the past but i am a newbee and i need some info on wheel and tire sizes. on my 87 syncro i am currently running 195/75R14's on stock steel wheels (14x5.5J) and the door jam says i can run a 205/70R14 on the same wheel. anyway my question is some list members are putting aftermarket 16" alloy wheels with tire size 215/65R16 on a van that came with 14's , is it the same overall tire height and if not does this affect the power (rob power) i.e., need more power to get bigger tires rolling ? and also what is the best size tire to run on the factory steel wheels. thanks for the help
