Does you diesel have A/C? What part of the oil filter is in the way? What
you may want to do is get a VW/Audi fox oil filter assembly. This assemble
doesn't let the oil filter hang straight down. It moves it to about a 30
deg angle pointing it to the rear. This really helped for my passanger
side motor mount assembly.
The 135ft/lb torque is not that much more than the 117ft/lb that the
factory 2.1 puts out. I wouldn't worry that much unless you are going to
drag race it or something.
