Pop out the old switch, unplug a simple connector, connect to new switch and pop it back in. The switch is held in by some retractable clips that I released using, I think, a butter knife. When you get the new switch and check it out, you should be able to figure it out. There's likely a better tool for the job, but anything flat enough to release the clips should work fine. The switch cost around $65 US, from New Dimensions. Check out http://www.newdimensions.com/. They're great volks, and should be able to help you out. Good luck! -----Original Message----- From: Daniel Soiney <soineydg@mail026.milwaukee.k12.wi.us> To: scott@KONNECTIONS.COM <scott@KONNECTIONS.COM> Date: Friday, May 08, 1998 8:07 AM Subject: Re: Daytime running lights for US Vanagons
