I've shut up on the tire issue up until now. I agonized over tires forthe GL for a long time before buying the Goodyear Wrangler Aquatread in a 215/70R14. Goodyear wanted alot of $$ for them so I went to Sears and paid like$85 a tire. I don't do much off roading except when I go kayaking so LT's weren't that necessary. These tires ride super and I've yet to have them hydroplane and I've tested them in some really nasty spring storms. thy're taller than the old tires and now my speedo is only a mile or two per hour off. Motor still runs 4000 RPM at 70mph, but at least now I'm really going 70. Could definitely tell the difference in the effective gearing the taller tires make. They are about 26" as I remember and everyting fits in the fenderwells.
