Hi Everyone. I've been running Bosch Platinums for three years now in our '90 Syncro with absolutely terrific results. Platinums require a strong engine that is running in tune. There is a very small electrode contact that can be easily fouled, but if your engine is in good health, you should have no problems and be able to benefit from these plugs. I run the Bosch Platinums in my mom-in-law's Golf 1.8 litre, our Miata, and our van with 100% satisfaction. Great cold starts, clean, carbon free contacts, and they never need to be regapped. I get two years on a set of plugs for these vehicles, and they still look good. I change them out on a two year cycle just to make me feel good. Power is improved, gas mileage is improved, and overall performance is also improved. I have no hesitation in recommending these plugs (WR7CP) for the Vanagon owner that has a strong engine. Just my experience. Harry. ----------------------------------------------------- Harry Yates, Langley, British Columbia Canada '90 Syncro Westfalia WWW - http://syncro.cr.bcit.bc.ca/hyates '87 Golf Diesel email: hyates@bcit.bc.ca '91 Miata (Millie) |
