Actually....my friend was sitting in the front passenger seat when I casually got up from the driver's seat with the cruise control on and went to the back of the bus. I have known him since we were kids and twenty years earlier we had a driving contest on the exact same stretch of freeway in Nevada on our way to california from PA to see who could drive his jeep farthest without touching the steering wheel...you can literally go for miles. He recognized immediately what I was doing (trying to shock him out of that nevada trance) and, at first, he simply and calmly grabbed the wheel with one hand without getting out of his seat...something we used to do for each other on long trips if the other needed to do something....but he soon let go....and we let the bus drive itself ... I won't tell you what we did next ... (except that we never endangered anyone else). steve Tyrone & Marilyn Greene wrote: > Are you that guy from Kentucky that while driving his brand new custom > > made van with cruise control, put it on auto-pilot and went back and > joined the party? ;^) > > Tyrone > Big Pine Key, FL |
