Thanks to all you good folks, the air reg. works fine and the upper control
arm is installed and wheels aligned.  So now we are going to drive Smoky
instead of fixing it!  If any of you folks in Seattle Port Angeles area see
an off-white Vanagon with black Datsun rear step bumper, honk :|)>
I will be away a lot for two weeks so am signing off the list but will still
read email.
