I regret that I'm at this point but significant life changes necessitate it.

My Gold 1986 Syncro GL is for sale. I have stayed on top of 97% of issues on this beast (all major issues with the exception of little things) since I've owned it. The brick is in San Francisco now and will likely go into storage in Pollock Pines, CA (near Tahoe) if I don't sell it soon. A few of the basics:

- 190,000 on odometer. - Short Block installed at approx. 100K - Head gaskets at 100K - Transmission rebuilt at 174K. - Clutch at 174K. - Alternator at 176K - New Tires at 173K - New Ignition components at 174K (wires, plugs, cap and rotor).

There are A TON of other little things (and some not so little) that were done and I have all of the maintance records for the beast from myself and the two other PO's. Recently new CV joint boots and a ball joint were installed on the front end. Also new front brakes were installed 2 months ago.

In regard to up and coming issues: You guessed it: it'll need a left HG (both I guess given the engine removal) at some point in the future. Has a small leak from the left side only. Also, there are other things such as random coolant and vacuum hoses. For those of you who love freon, it needs a new AC compressor as well. It also has a small oil leak.

I know this thing inside and out and would be happy to detail specifics to anyone interested. It runs well and I was prepared to drive it from California to Alaska until non-related issues arose.

I'm off the list now, so if you are interested, have any questions or know anyone who might be interested - drop me a line directly: paulagon@yahoo.com.

This beast is NOT for sale because I don't trust its mechanical integrity. Due to a couple random serious personal issues I have to enter into liquidation of extras.

Regards,

Paul 86 Syncro - 190,771K
