Everyone wants a syncro westy. Vanagon Westy's aren't too hard to find. Syncro Vanagon's aren't too hard to find... so... how 'bout it? How many of you are secretly planning this but just don't want other people thinking about it?

Or am I smoking something generally disapproved of by the list members... >>

knew a guy who had a '86 westy syncro. he had a nasty divorce, his wife took the westy syncro and sold it. he wanted a westy syncro, but couldnt find a affordable one. sooo.... he bought an '85 westy cheap. and he bought a '87 syncro passenger van cheap.. he took the whole syncro drivetrain out of the '87, and swapped it into the '85 westy...gas tank, and everything..

then he made his '87 back into 2wd...

lotta work, but he did it...now he has an '85 syncro westy......an a '87 ex- syncro passenger van..
