Hi all, THANKS for all the messages regarding my bucking, or stumbling, problem while on the highway. It hasn't happened again, tho I haven't been on the interstate again either. I received a variety of answers and thought I'd summarize them for the list: 2 or 3 said to change the fuel filter and run some premium gas; 2 said it might be early signs of ECU failure (please gods, NO!); 2 or 3 referred to an auxiliary airbox wiring harness; 1 said it might be the hall sender on the distributor (never heard of that before); 1 or 2 O2 sensor replacement suggestions; 1 temp sensor near thermostat; 1 cruise control problem (I don't have cruise); and 1 suggestion to clean the carbon track in the sealed airflow meter. I have dutifully saved all these responses in case the problem recurs and I have to go to my mechanic. And I put a tank of premium, name-brand gas in the tank. Will have the fuel filter changed at my next oil change.

Hate to gush but this list is GREAT! Thanks again.
