I'd be willing to be that Marine tex won't stick. If plastic welding is not in the plans, then go to Wal-Mart and get to the adhesives section ofthe store in hardware and look for a large selection of syringe glues from Duro or Duco(don't remember which). There is a methylmethacrolate based glue called Plastic Welder that if you rough up the surface well enough and polarize the plastic by passing the 1" blue inner flame cone from a propane torch over the area to be bonded, you will have a better than evewn chance of the leak sealing. I believe that the resivoir is made from polyethelyne and virtually nothing sticks to it. The meth glue will stick if the above steps are taken and WalMart also has a urethane based plastic weld that maybe you should try first. Come to think of it, the urethane based glue is the only thing that will patch the polyethelyne canoes out there and thaeir instructions read the same as whhat I've described. The 25ml syringe is a whopping $2.37 ie worth the gamble.
