You're missing the point. Logic doesn't rule the world...or people. Without rituals, lore, belief in a higher power...we would have no culture and life would be boring. Waiting for the light to stop blinking is a wonderfully absurd gesture that accomplished nothing in the physical world...but does something spirtually for more thn a few...especially now that they know others are out there doing it. I think I will give it a try before my next trip. It's a nice, silent gesture that forces you to focus and pause for a moment before taking off in the beloved bus... Kinda like a moment of silence before school....oh yea, I forgot....they outlawed that absurd gesture already...
