Ken,on my swap I left the o2 Sensor off, it runs great. Of course I also used points ignition and very simple(canadian schematic in Haynes)vacuum line setup. We don't have emissions testing in Oregon, but I do try to keep it tuned and running clean. I did use the rabbit fuel pump and accumulator, I think the latter would be necessary to maintain proper fuel pressure. good luck
